Based on the comic strip by Aaron McGruder. How many of you are familiar with this story?

I never knew there was a 3 season cartoon on Adult Swim, since I don't watch TV anymore. I discovered it on Youtube quite by accident.

For those unfamiliar, the story revolves around the lives of Robert Freeman, an old man who gets custody of his 2 grandsons, Huey (10) and Riley (8). They are black, and move into a mostly white neighborhood. Their usual comic relief is Uncle Ruckus, a black man who believes he is really white, extremely racist, and suffers from "revitilago", which has turned his skin black.

Riley wants to be "bangin' rap star", and has cornrow braids. Huey is a "domestic terrorist" with a huge afro. Grandpa is an old horndog who is into online dating. You can see where this goes?

The cartoon is heavy in satire, skewers almost everyone and everything in stereotypes, and is probably the most profane thing I've ever seen! I love it!

Dude, this is one of my favorites. Discovered it on Crackle, of all places; they have all three seasons.

I love the rap stars on the show; the writers just skewer the livin' bejeezus out of them, and Huey is the perfect foil to Riley's wanna-be-rapper self.

Paolo; just wait until you see the episode where Riley follows the style of an obviously-gay-but-closeted rapper. I will admit, he has the legs to pull off the skirt he ends up in... !

I haven't found that one yet! I haven't been watching them in order.

All of Riley's gay-paranoia has me wondering about him anyway.

Never mind, I found it. Seems there was a 1 and 2.
