The Impossible
I saw this movie today. I liked it a lot. It's the true story of a family, mother, father, and three boys from 5 to 10 years old, on holiday in Thailand that gets caught up in the Tsunami that hit in 2004.

Here's a link to a page with the real family with pictures of them today (spoiler alert): http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/wo ... sible.html.
In the movie, the nationality of the family isn't specified. The real family was from Spain, but in the movie, they could have been from anywhere. Before I knew the story, I was thinking they were from the USA or the UK.
Here's a link to some comments about the movie from someone that was there at the same place in Thailand and also suffered through the tsunami. He thinks the movie accurately depicts the tsunami.

My only criticism of the movie was that the actors playing two of the boys had brown eyes, while the actors playing the parents had blue eyes. Two blue-eyed parents don't have brown-eyed kids.
Picky, I know, but it bugged me.
