Big Miracle (a whale movie)

Back in 1988 there were three whales that got stuck near Barrow Alaska and needed lots of human intervention to clear a path through the ice to migrate. So the story became a book and this is the movie.
Very suitable for kids and families who want to see cute animals and lots of nice people struggling to save them
The youngest whale does die (think Bambi moment) and the story is wholesome, sweet and real. The Innuit are the heroes, sort of. Lots of people come off as heroes, including politicians and oil men.
So if you see it on cable TV, you can feel safe to let kids watch it.
Think "8 Below" in Alaska with water.
