Highly recommended on Showtime is listed as
Untold History of the U.S.
It is a production by Oliver Stone and at the beginning of the first episode he laments the general public's poor perception of history so he offered a series in the style he learned it.
Too much classical music by today's standards.
Has anyone checked it out.
Episode 2 taught who Wallace, FDR's third term V.P. was and why Truman was substituted.
And how Stalin figured he gave the Brits, Greece although they did not represent the anti-fascist forces
and considered Poland reciprocity to avoid a third German invasion on Russian soil.
New view points presented with old and primary material.
out of a possible 5. Has anyone checked it out?
Moi
HIStory, never HERstory
BTW I grew up in a family where Truman was number one with FDR the closest second.
To suddenly learn who Wallace was, I wish I could quiz them.
Wallace advocated equal pay for equal work regardless of sex or race. etc. etc.
How much better then Truman might Wallace have been.
