I chose the political forum for this post as it does not belong in either the "Deep Dark Cellar" or "Jokes" forums.
"TBN" Trinity Broadcasting Netwark had a wonderful tribute to Rev. Graham for his 94th birthday today, November 7, 2012.
He received complements and commendations for his life's work from a vast range of people:
World political leaders both past and present
Past U.S. Presidents
Past and present state governors
World religeous leaders both past and present
Various Hollywood stars and celebrities
many others too numerous to recall
He served as advisor and friend to many of our country's leaders.
Who was not there to pay tribute to this great person?

Me that's for sure.
I don't hold Billy Graham in high esteem as you do. I hold him in low esteem. Just the same as the leaders of most organized religions.
And if THAT is your idea of what any elected official in this country should do then the road NORTH leads to CANADA, over hte NORTH POLE and RUSSIA -- start walking, I hear it ain't crowded.

Billy Graham ran two full page ads in the Denver Post encouraging people to vote for
Mitt Romney and implying that Barack Obama is not a christian.
Billy Graham's efforts among the powerful and wealthy have always seemed directed
toward improving his own lifestyle.
A pox on Billy Graham and those politicians who pretend to respect him.

Do you really think that implication was incorrect?

Even as a non-christian, I find your post offensive.
Of course, I also find Billy Graham and his organization offensive. Dave said it well above.

Mac, shortly before I gave up religion at age 16, I went to see the great Billy Graham with my church, it was at LA coliseum. He talked no more or any better then any other preacher just one more famous and at the end he said something that every televangelist says and give money we must keep this ministry going. Yes Mac, its all about the money it has always been about the money, great man, or front man for a money making business that gives nothing and takes everything. You call him a great man but in reality he is not much better then a carnival barker, picking your pocket as you go by.
So without showing great disrespect for the frail old man I will wish him a Happy Birthday and go to hell.

I have told you before that I don't listen to them.

I moved this thread over to the Joke Media section as it did not belong in the political section at all.
