The first tip reminds me of old cartoon "Three from Prostokvashino":

-You are eating your sandwich wrong, Uncle Fedor.

-You are eating a sandwich with meat up, and should eat it with meat down, it will be tastier this way.

Or something like this :). In ex-USSR, it was a relatively well recognized quote.

Watch this, if you are curious, it is in first 2 minutes:

That was great, I did not understand the words but most of the message was clear. I did notice a couple words that seem to be universal over all languages, momma, poppa.

Hmm, is that perhaps where Dr Seuss got the idea for The Butter Battle Book? Butter side up or butter side down?

I do not know, the cartoon is from 1978, if I looked it up correctly. The book - closer to 1980s (had to look up, and it looked familiar). So may be, may be not.

PS. Riverwind, there were subtitles there, in English.

There were subtitles? I just tend to make up my own dialog... more fun that way.

I saw no subtitles. I sent the link to my friend Daniil for a phone call and translation.

Hit "CC" at the bottom of the video. There are both English and Russian subtitles. They just don't appear automatically.

Apparently someone watched monkeys and apes in a zoo eating bananas. They always open them from the tip, and after all, they are the experts.
