Urethral reroute

Hi all,

Has anyone here ever achieved a self done urethral reroute?

I did an attempt few years ago (photos on BME), managed to insert a plastic tube, but it was far too brutal, so I had to remove it to prevent infection.

I would try with a nylon thread, very small, using a needle to pass it through the urethra . in other words, a kind of piercing. After that, I would do another hole, and a ligature between.

Any advice or opinion is welcome.

I have some questions:

How do you plan to prevent infection?

How do you plan to guide needle into urethra without puncturing anything before intended point?

For infection, same care as for piercings. it's like a dolphin, or deep PA.

For the guide, inserting a tube in the urethra, and the needle in it.

A number of us tried to do our own reroutes, but it's very difficult and invasive. I only know of one or possibly two EA members that were successful, but one of these was an above the scrotum reroute.

If you really want one of these, you should get a urologist to do it. That's what I did and it works perfectly. However, here's what it took to achieve: Castration, most of my scrotum removed, glans split, and pierced. I went to a female urologist here in Jersey, she told me they usually only do these for penectomies. When asked why I wanted it, I used the excuse that when I urinate I splatter urine all over the place. That much was actually true, my urologist being female, I think looking at my split glans and piercing, that she excepted that for the most part. But she said I'd also have to see a psychologist and after the psychologist signed off that I wasn't crazy, she said she'd do the operation. Now the urologist didn't really say that she wanted me to see a psychologist to ensure that I was sane, but it was insinuated. So I saw a psychologist, a female, she was sympathetic as I hoped and anticipated and gave the urologist the green light. So then I had the surgery, in medical lanuage, a perineal urethrostomy. I didn't feel a thing. The only thing I didn't like was the catheter, which I wore for a week until I healed.

I actually enjoyed all of this. I enjoyed going to the female urologist, having her examine me. I enjoyed talking to the female psychologist about my castration and need for a reroute. She didn't really know much at all about body modifiers, so I filled her in and was she amazed. I also enjoyed the operation for the most part, but that's me. But it's done and it went well and I pee sitting. My one regret is that I still leak a little urine from my penis, the urologist didn't seal things off that well, but it's not that bad and I enjoy not using my penis to urinate with. I usually squeeze my penis to prevent any leakage out the tip, but it's really cool to pee while holding your penis and nothings coming out of it.

Thanks, Hash, That's exactly what I would like to feel and enjoy myself.

Oh, I forgot! If you have urinary strictures, something that blocks or impedes urination, that will help you get a medical reroute. In other words, if you messed up your urethra so that it's difficult to urinate, they'll most likely give you a reroute.
