this showed up on cable and because I was running around the house doing housework, I left it on.

I don't even care if you think this is a spoiler, this movie is dumb, dumb, dumb,

Take the Canadian legend of Ogopogo (their version of the Loch Ness Monster) and throw in a kid, a single father neglecting his sad, sad, sad son -- (the wife died, boo hoo much angst and no character development, think contrived)

Throw in a pair of idiotic environmentalists who thirst for blood, Crazy indigineous people padies, a pretty love interest, dead fish and a prehistoric family of monster, semi-intelligent fish...

Shake well, do not stir gently, remember bruise everybody

Let the cute, lovable monsters kill the bad guys in scary, vicious ways to give your kids flaming nightmares...

and TA DA, you got a movie.

This is a hairy lollipop found under the seat of a used car in the midst dead bugs, dead french fries and a used condom.
