I suggest you take an old, old pillow and a flyswatter or something that size, place both in front of the TV, seal the windows and doors and then scream profanity (vile, ugly, nasty stuff) at the news and beat the pillow to death. Do that for about five minutes and spend all that rage.

Then compose yourself and unseal the house.

Or get some Nerf footballs to throw at the TV, it wont hurt the TV but it sure makes you feel better.
