Just watched some of HBO's

"Too Big To Fail", about the 2008 economic collapse.

Wow!

Made me more of a Paulist.

These institutions should have been allowed to fail!

We the people really got screwed.

And although the screw started with the Bush Administration,

it continued in nature and more so under the Obama Administration.

Tax supported profiteers. The American Oligarchy. :realpisse

Please explain what I don't get.

Until HBO demonstrates an equally elegant docudrama as "Too Big to Fail"

or "Game Change" (Palin) exposing the rich Democrats, I have to assume HBO

is a Liberal front. Obama continued the same, charge it to the little guy

trickle down recovery as Bush, yet it is not mentioned.

<a curse on all their houses>

Moi

Progressive

Where is my percolate up alternative?

This movie really, really pissed me off.

We are living in times the connected are less obliged to follow the law.

Why should I, if I can get away with it?

Moi my friend, we have gone over this so many times I want to puke. But if you want to blame someone for this economy stalling and going nowhere, then read the Constitution, the people with the purse strings are the house which are made up of a bunch of tea party republicans, put the blame where it belongs.

It does not matter what this president asks for or tried, if he declared it a beautiful day and it was a beautiful day the republicans would reject it. They are not worried about the economy, they hope and have done everything they can to see if fail, its all politics. I hope the Democrats in the senate do the same thing to the republicans for the next several years. Nothing will get done, nothing, we will welcome a depression because both sides are to busy having a pissing contest. Let the whole thing fail, everything, then the republicans can re-write the constitution in their image and we can all rejoice.

Everybody will be free to do what ever we want, nobody will be required to buy anything, business will not be HURT by all those nasty regulations that hurt business, and everybody will win.

I must remember to get a gas mask.

Too Big To Fail

Made me angry.

It confirmed there is No Free Market.

It is all a manipulated economy.

And not to MY favor.

Obama had both a democratic house and senate for his first two years and they had to resort to dirty tricks to get the healthcare bill passed. He has had the republican house for only 6 months so they can't be blamed for the first two years.

Can he blame Bush for another four years?

Okay. I am officially getting sick of this cookie cutter answer. Obama did not have 2 years to get things done. He had 7 months. Other than those 7 months, he has not had a filibuster proof majority.

The republicans have used their filibuster option to block everything Obama has tried to do. For such a brief time of being able to get anything done, Obama should be very proud of his accomplishments.

Obama did not have 2 years to do whatever he wanted. You are off your count by 17 months. He only had 29% of the time you claim he had. You are off by 71%. Stop spreading the same lies. It offends me when you can simply ignore reality, and not expect me to simply remember.

RiverI do not listen to Rush or Fox News and my statement regarding the republican house majority of only 6 1/2 months was correct. I only failed to consider the senate fillibuster which was not used in all cases.

Both the house and senate are so divided in that they are unable to work together for the good of the country. Neither side is willing to compromise on the major issues and Obama has been unable to provide the necessary leadership to bring about cooperation.

...

But you say things like you listen to Limbaugh and Fox.

In fact you repeat them over and over even after you are shown the facts of the matter.

This gets stupid, real fast, then ignorant and obnoxious.

You just can't accept the fact that Obama has failed to unite the congress or the country. We have had good leaders of both parties who have succeeded at being uniters.
