Scrotoplasty finally scheduled

As a full fledged member of the community now for 4 years, I have finally found the time, to be able to get rid of the "dreadful" sag of my small scrotum. The procedure is scheduled for may 4th, and I am very excited to finally be getting things "smoothed" up down there. I have found that even though its small , and often quite retracted that it is an annoyance, both in clothes and out. Thankfully my Uro was very agreeable to the removal, and insurance will actually pay for it.

That is great news I am very happy for you, I still have to wait another 3 months before I can go and see the doc to get mine sorted as they said I would have to be 6 months post op, I would like it done now but the time is going quite quickly and after all my main op is done and being a eunuch is great I must admit I feel my sack every time I wake and sometimes in the day and just smile because its empty.

Good luck.

The surgery is now complete! I am pleased to report that the good doctor did an excellent job, and while I am still slightly swollen, it appears that she managed to get all of it. The scar is about 3-3.5 inches and very neatly stitched. I am absolutly ecstatic with the resluts. Pain wise, there has been very little. I took one Motrin so far, and that took care of it. I will be posting pics in my personals profile once the healing is complete, and I can show the final result.

Recovery is like two weeks for possible swelling and bruising. After that its another of those mileage may vary things.

I am already very pleased with the result, and once the healing is complete it will be even better.

I had my sack cut off a year ago and it is wonderful just like there never was anything down there.

raymar,

Did you see a plastic surgeon or a urologist?

Congratulations, Raymar!

I have had a number of eunuchs recommend a scrotoplasty to me after castration also. I am still not a eunuch however my day will come some day.

Here is an update on my progress. Scrotoplasty when done correctly is not just about getting rid of the sack. There are some inner workings that need to go as well. The inner sacks, one for each testicle, and a small amount of muscle tissue that helps the scrotum retract. There is also a center divider in the scrotum itself that must be detached.

I originally had thought I was having it done under a local, but my doc decided she really wanted me out , to do the job right. One minute I was chatting with her, and the next I was in recovery. It took over an hour to do what she did.

I ended up with an incision that extends about an inch up the penile shaft , and to about an inch from my anus. She was very thorough in getting all of it. I had assumed from seeing others that the wound would be fairly large, but it still surprised me. She used two strengths of stitches, placed very close together to minimize scarring. It apparently worked, as now at not quite 3 weeks the line is almost invisible. By three months, I suspect that it will be totally invisible.

Healing was surprisingly easy. I did have some pretty bad bruising, but I bruise easily, and they are still clearing. Swelling was around the pubic mound, and along the perenium on either side of the incision. The first few days clothes were uncomfortable, but I just wore loose shorts, and stayed close to home. Each day I am noticing that the swelling reduces even more, and now I can really see the result. I am quite pleased.

Owing to my personal situation, and the fact that my scrotum had not supported testicles for almost 25 years , it had shrunk quite a bit, but still was capable of being rather unattractive when it was really warm. I much prefer this smooth look. It was well worth the small amount of discomfort I had. I was given a pain prescription, but never had it filled. A couple Advils seemed to handled what I felt just fine.

To those who are considering this procedure, I would advise that you really get a clear understanding of what will be removed. To achive a really smooth look all that other stuff inside needs to go. Be prepared for swelling, and some discomfort, but it is definately easier than having ones testicles removed.

I will be posting post op pics on Tribe, and in my profile in the Personals on this site as soon as the bruising is gone. I will also post some that show day one, and successive days after to help those planning to do this to know what is coming.
