No cause for alarm though. A simple technical mistake. Fixed now.

Re: Yes yes, we died
A peek behind the curtain.
After the Archive went down last night, there was a flurry of emails among the moderators and with some of the regulars here who have email addresses for moderators. Early this morning a reassuring message arrived from the Great Talula:
Yea. It looks like they moved the virtual server over to a different box last night. It is running and I see it. There is some networking issue that they must have forgotten to address. Phone numbers have been called, emails have been sent.
It's just a plain raw technical mistake. Nothing to worry about.
I sent Tal’s response to a few folk who had contacted me, asking for any information that I had. The only one who responded back was Dave, who replied:
AHA (snark, giggle) the olde - "moved the server to another virtual place trick" - oooh-lala
Why not the real reason - the electronic gods are horny again and looking for a nice computer to dilly dally (I say dilly dally because the "f" word is a little too harsh for early Saturday.
This is a plot, a plot I tell you. I saw it in a movie last night. "I Robots" are coming to take over the world
wink, wink.
It finally required Talula’s skills aiding our ISP to get us up and running again….

I'm glad Talula is around.
I have no understanding of computers beyond my laptop. The internet to me is a wire into a box and beyond that nada...
Thanks very much, good job.

There's a big fuss going on about censorship of erotica on ebook sites. I thought it was related to that. Pleased its not.

See, there was no need to blame Rupert again, he only pulled the plug out once and that was years ago.
Thanks, T.

Re: Yes yes, we died
Glad to see we're back. I HAD intended to spend my day editing. Instead I spent my day watching Futurama re-runs.
Now the two things are merging in my mind.
To Quote Bender Bending Rodriguez, "We're back baby!"
