That should be law enforcement officer above.

The only actor that comes to mind is Ralph Waite. He plays the father of Leroy"Jethro" Gibbs on NCIS , that is played by Mark Harmon.

I watch Jeopardy every day, I have not seen that question but that does not mean it did not happen.
I don't know the answer or should I say question either.

What about the show "Blue Bloods" ?
I haven't watched it but it has one of those dynastic deals of a police family.

That is correct. He also plays the grandfather of Special Agent Seeley Booth played by David Boreanaz. (Are all FBI agents Special Agents?)

I should have said that it was a Jeopardy type question that I made up. I have no idea if it was on Jeopardy.
