Sad, just plain sad. Justifiable murder in the name of Islam, what a horrible travesty. As has been stated, there's nothing honorable about a so-called honor killing. These men need to be stoned to death or worse, they should have their genitals removed.

When my daughter got married, I gave her a 12" iron skillet. Then I told her of its many ways it could be used, in front of her new husband. Then smiled. To my knowledge her first husband and second one have never hit her. It is a good thing because she has 4 brothers who would take care of such a problem if it ever came up.

I wonder what would happen to that religion if the women all got on the same page and said NO SEX, NO anything until you change. I guess that is why they don't want their women to learn how to read.

I do not believe in any religion however they are in degrees of best to worst.

The Christian Bible says much the same things as what these Islamic Muslims are saying. The only difference I see, is that the Islamic world is about 100 years behind the western world in not taking our religion so seriously.

Even the most devoutly religious Christians no longer believe EVERY word the bible says. If you went back a hundred years in time, you'd find most western civilizations agreed with these modern Muslim Imams.

Religions say some screwy, screwy things. It doesn't matter which religion you look at, they are all equally screwy. The only difference I see, is how seriously we take it, and which parts we choose to focus on.

My general rule, when looking at religion is this, if it gives you comfort, fine. I'll support you. When you try to spread your idea of that religion to other people, especially those who don't have a choice in the matter, then you've taken it too far. Religion is fine for you as the individual, but wrong when you press it on someone else. It is wrong when you make rules out of it, that people other than yourself "have" to obey.
