Sounds to me like a common complaint against police officers. But one must remember that many of these people suffer from a little known job related disease, testosterone poisoning. But i hear a cure has been found."</i>

What cure? Oh, yes... Now I remember.

My father is friends with most of the police officers in my home town. The current chief of police is his best friend. I never thought anything odd if I came home to find my house surrounded by police cars. My Dad was very social with them. They were often over for coffee with him when their shifts ended.

Every so often a real dirt-bag would slip through the cracks, and get a badge. The good cops, the ones that took their jobs seriously, and cared about the public trust, well they hated the dirt-bag cops more than they hated criminals.

The dirt-bags would quickly find themselves without back-up in a sticky situation. Or, back-up would take just a little longer to get there. It was funny how the dirt-bags always found themselves in difficult situations. The running theory was they created those situations themselves, so they could feel like a big man.

Usually those morons with badges didn't last very long. The last thing you want to do as a police officer is to piss off your brothers in arms. If they decide to beat the stuffing out of you to teach you a lesson, who are you going to call?

A lot of tough guy, dirt bag cops left the Blue and white, black and blue.
