Russian Rape Suspect Snared By Bite Mark On His Privates

NIZHNY NOVGOROD, Russia - A suspected rapist was caught by Russian police thanks to a bite mark left on his penis by his victim, RIA Novosti reported Friday.

The terrified woman sank her teeth into the attacker's privates in a desperate attempt to fight him off after he targeted her in the grounds of a children's hospital.

The alleged rapist fled but police warned hospitals in Nizhny Novgorod, central Russia, to be on the lookout for a man with an injured penis.

Sure enough, her alleged attacker sought medical treatment shortly after the incident in January of this year and was arrested when doctors spotted the bite mark.

The suspect is due to go to court and faces up to ten years in prison if convicted, the state-owned news agency said.
