Some time next week BME will be taking its servers down for maintenance. I do not yet know when this will happen, or how long it will last. But, of course, that means that the EA will be down as well. When I have more information about timing I will post it.

Things happened rather rapidly and without notice, it seems. I was as surprised as anyone. Hopefully, everything is now done. BME itself is still down, however.

The good news is that the most recent outage wasn't BME doing their

maintenance without prior warning. It was some kind of failure at the

provider.

The bad news is, the maintenance will be starting around 9-10pm EST

tonight, until sometime mid-day Monday (times given by Rachel on IAM and

Since the server was down last weekend, I have noticed that I no longer get emails when people reply to threads I have written to. I checked my settings in UserCP where it says I am still signed up to get the emails. It is no huge deal, but it was convenient. I am curious if this was intentional or is something wrong with my email account.
