This is the problem with user-generated content sites. I just want to scream when I found my documents on Scribd or my videos from YouTube reuploaded by others. We live in a copy/paste world. :realpisse

This is the problem with user-generated content sites. I just want to scream when I found my documents on Scribd or my videos from YouTube reuploaded by others. We live in a copy/paste world. :realpisse

Sad, but true. And now everyone knows why I refuse to put out any further photos of my modifications beyond those that exist already. I've seen my own photos end up on that site, I've had content stolen from the PAY site that I moderate (and it is a paltry sum for membership, but apparently the people who go in there and then re-post think they are entitled to... THEY ARE NOT).

It's the reason I am not a member of Facebook or MySpace as well. People put too much stuff out there and it's there for the taking, copyright violation, stolen, or not.

To answer the red nun, I know I've seen that person post on BME, but I cannot confirm that those are BME images. What I do know is that almost every image or video posted on the site referenced is stolen from somewhere else.
