Muti or Madness as 2-year-old's Penis,Tongue Cut Off

Sapa are reporting Monday that a 2-year-old KwaZulu-Natal boy is in a critical condition after his tongue and penis were cut off.

According to the police the gruesome discovery was made in eZimangweni in eNanda late last Wednesday after the boy had gone missing while playing with his friends.

Police spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Vincent Mdunge that so far no arrests had been made and they were investigating a case of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

Mdunge appealed to local residents to come forward with information about the attack.

Kwazulu-Natal is of course the province where a policeman was accused of shooting dead four men in an argument over the size of their penises. He told the KwaZulu-Natal High Court in Durban that he fired the shots because he believed his life was in danger.

Of course the incident involving the two-year-old child might also relate to some form of muti "gathering" because other than that there can be no reasonable explenation for this conduct.

I wouldn't view the link. Some things are just so revolting they go beyond fantasy. Taking advantage of anyone (adult or child) who is incapable of mentally or physically defending themselves is worthy of maximum punishment, like isolation cell for rest of life.

You can Google the "muti" subject. Sadly, it's not all that uncommon in Africa.

So sad, hurting a child is the most heinous and hideous crime on earth. Poor kid.

Why would anyone want to look at a picture of a child of 2 who has had his penis cut off,looking at pictures of an adult who has had his penis cut off but a child that realy is a no no.

Or is it just me who feels like that,i would be happy to hear what others think.

I wish I was rich and had the money so this kid could get some really good care. I can't imagine not having a tongue let alone a penis. Medical care cannot be that great, if he survives it'll be a miracle.

What do you think they'll be able to do for this poor kid? I imagine the redirection of the urinary flow might be done and stopping the hemorrhaging from the penis will be the easier fix then stopping the bleeding from the remains of the tongue. Eating, swallowing, tasting, how horrible an existence. Hope they catch and hang these monsters. Man this is bothering me.

It bothers me too, so I try not to think on it too much.
