Today is the 6 month anniversary of Mr. Carter being shot in the groin by his girlfriends father. He was treated and released, which makes me wonder how serious his injury was, but I had my testicle removed and was released, so maybe that's what they did for him. The man's groin was dripping blood, and he was screaming that he'd been shot.

Yeah, really, I would like to see some REAL follow-ups on people who had their "15 minutes of fame."

For example... What ever did happen to Randall Carter? Does he have to pee sitting down? If not, then I think we need to shoot him again!

Also.... What ever became of John Mark Carr? (He was the man who was in Thailand, and "confessed" to killing Jon Bene Ramsey, that was all a big lie) The last I saw of him, was on some Hollywood tabloid type TV show... not sure maybe it was ET or some other such "news show," the said he had gotten gender reassignment surgery and was a woman now. OK, so, I do remember John Mark Carr did have some criminal issues, a charge in California for sexual activity with a minor I think, and he did in fact have a history of that sort of problem.... So where is she now? In light of the fact that she is now a woman, how is the justice system going to treat her?

And.... How are Mary Kay Letourneau and Villi Fulau getting along? Last I heard of them, they were married and living "happily ever after" in Washington state. I do sincerely hope that they are in fact "living happily ever after" because they have both been through hell and they should be able to live out their lives in peace, but without pestering them or anything, I really am curious to see how the "May-December romance" worked out. Are the Washington state authorities still hounding Mary? I imagine they insist that she is a "registered sex offender for life" even though that seems clearly inappropriate in this case.

And.... What ever became of that woman "Angelina something-or-other from Uganda? I remember reading that she found a man trying to rape her TEN year old daughter, she attacked him with a machete, and hacked off his penis! I think she would be a "pop icon" with a lot of mothers from around the world, what ever did happen?

And finally.... Less that six months ago, somewhere, I posted that in six months time everyone here would have long since forgotten about a mining tragedy... "How soon they forget." I bet the higher-ups at the Massey Mining Corporation are incredibly happy, yes, happy for the BP oil well catastrophe in the gulf. That tragedy has taken the spotlight off of the recent mining tragedies, and freed them up to return to business as usual, paying off mining inspectors and running dangerous mines.
