Well the Devil thread seems so active I thought I would offer the thread from the other side.
What GOOD Have I Done?
What act of charity, kindness, returning extra change to the cashier have I, and the reader, done to counter, The Devil?
For my part, I take in my elderly neighbor's garbage cans every week without ever having been asked. Doesn't make them, nice to me but, I do it anyway.
Anyone up for acts of kindness to thwart the Devil?

But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,

Kind of like the Devil/Angel split applied to the MASTURBATION question. Unless, it takes two hands to handle the WHOPPER!

I am reading "Obit" by Jim Sheeler. A lot of regular folks have done good in their lives. And not in a financial sense.

Both Democrats and Republicans give to charity, the difference is
Democrats give because its the right thing to do and ask for nothing in return.
Republicans give because its the right thing to do and ask for a recept.
When you give of yourself and ask for nothing in return you are that good person, I try to do that as a way to live my life.

The idea is - -
just doing something good in one's daily life for another
as opportunities happen.

One worships God by helping others, and not by giving some preacher a fat paycheck and tips (i mean tithing) and going to church each Sunday.
