I would have though the images would be more authentic if the model had no balls and was running only on estrogen.

I chatted once online with a Tgirl that was very passable, yet fully functionable. She had told me she was taking enough estrogen for feminization, but a small enough dose to still allow the flag pole to rise. Then again big titted Tgirls with active equipment are most likely the result of a decent boob job.

Then too, I'm sure regular usage of a pump could keep the shrinkage down to a minimum. But most transgendered gal have little or no desire to keep the male equipment aanyway, so shrinkage is a blessing.

This is ultimately a question on TS hormone regimens, so I will start by pointing out that there simply is no hard data on the effects of female hormones on TS people. What data there is is extrapolated either from studies of biological females on HRT or on males treated for prostrate cancer. Neither of which matches our needs. And this is equally true of MD s and endocrinologists. There simply are not enough of us and we are too varied in age, background etc, to set up the kind of double blind studies that would provide clear information. So any answers by definition are going to be anecdotal, and your mileage may vary.

That being said I have known quite a few trans women who have worked in porn, and here are a few points about this question. 1) It is believed by many that impotence and shrinkage are more linked to blockers (spiro and androcur etc.) than to estrogen. And you can have considerable feminization on estrogen only, so a lot of porn actresses are taking estrogen without blockers. 2) For shoots, there is often fairly massive use of Viagra and it's kin. 3) For many trans women on hormones, major shrinkage does not set in until 4 or 5 years into hormone therapy. By then a lot of them have had surgery so it is no longer a problem. and lastly, quite a few "she male" actresses have either never taken estrogen or taken it only long enough to develop breast buds which makes boob jobs easier. Their feminization is completely a product of plastic surgery and lucky genes, rather than hormones.

Now the question is why so many of us like "chicks with dicks." For me, I think it's a bisexual ideal - face and form of a woman, cock and balls of a man.
