I have a feeling a conservative will get hold of this and spread it around to the other conservatives and yet another conspiracy theory will be born. Obama is trying to genetically wipe out christians!

On the other hand Randy's statement may have been in jest. At least that is how I took it.

I think Randy was just being funny. And it actually was.

Randy himself was using satire - "There is no Such thing as a gay scientist." Scientists can be gay or straight, male or female, religious or athiest, etc.

If he had simply stated "That is fake.", than he's likely one of those aformentioned zealots desperately discrediting the vid.
