I think I remember a comment months ago that you were going to see Dr. Ruth and, in the course of the conversation, mention eunuchism. I have never seen a post about that. Did it happen?

I wish I could report something more interesting than what actually happened.

There were about four or five of us talking with Dr. Ruth when I told her about the eunuch community that is found here on the Archive and asked her opinion about it. She turned red and stammered and stuttered for a while before someone else changed the subject. She was clearly very uncomfortable with even the thought that there might be eunuchs in the modern world.

She's a sweet lady and I didn't push her any more about it.
