Where are they ?

I just completed a phone conversation with an old friend who has been a eunuch since he was 18 months old. We are of the same age group( children of the 50's) and at one time we knew several dozen guys who were like us.
The pediatric urologist that treated us , felt that boys who were "different" sexually would be better rounded individuals if we knew others like ourselves. To that end he hosted parties for his young male patients that allowed us to socialize with other"balless" boys. He was right, in that as I grew up , I was very comfortable with my body, and the parts I seemingly did not have.
As a young adult, I met a couple guys who were also eunuchs, not by choice, and they brought me into a club called "The Nobals". At that time there were over 500 members, mostly gay men, who for whatever reason did not have testicles. I even attened several get togethers one even here in my home state. Mail from the group was spotty, and ultimately, someone took the reins that just stopped bothering. Not being a paper saver, I couldn't try to restart it, in those days before the internet.
Over the years, I have met numerous guys who were surgically "corrected as children. This includes even some who had partial penectomies as small boys. Since I have known some in the past, I am sure that there were more of them out there. I just wonder , where are these guys, and why do they not participate in our forums either here or on the various internet group sites?
In the early 80's I also met several guys who had "chosen" to be castrated, but went right on HRT, Their desire was about not having a certain offending body part. It was said that there was a strong movement in that direction, in the gay community, yet I have never seen anything much published in print or on the net.
I also met a very kindly gentlemen who in the 20's submitted to a glansectomy as a part of being part of a group of closeted(we had to be then) men who wanted sex with other men. He said at one point he was sure there were several hundred guys in that group. It was active until the late 50's.
So I ask again, where are they, those like myself who were born with a gential issue, or those who by reason of an accident, came to have one?
