I am enjoying the story also.

The story is good, but everything is good so smoothly a bad guy is needed.

I seldom look into stories anymore, but since this one generated feedback (which is amazing in itself) I did.

I agree, it's a good story, but it does need a "bad guy" or villain to move things along. Someone who really wants 'our hero' castrated, for whatever reasons, and will stop at nothing until it's done? Right off, don't know how you'd swing that one, though?

One idea might be that the neighbors know that Gavril is a houseboy, and Daniel lets slip that Gavril is intact, or perhaps someone see them swimming together naked or something, and just has a fit over an intact houseboy? Especially if Gavril is ethnically different from the other boy(s). There could be some subclauses in the houseboy laws that provides more extreme punishment for houseboys, if these clauses are violated, which Gavril could be accused of. If the writer were thinking along the lines of Gavril being spared, then perhaps they could switch him for another boy who WANTS to be castrated? Just some thoughts. Keep up the good work!
