Hello, I'm new to posting here (clearly), and I've read most stickies, and have absorbed a good amount of information concerning castration.

I may have missed if this has been addressed, but I was simply wondering,

is it possible to achieve the same effects of physical castration, by way of

chemical castration? Say, if put on a long term regimen?

Yes you can achieve full castration effects with chemical castration drugs if used in the correct dose. There are countless accounts of guys using several different ones. Each has its own good and bad sides. Often the person may select the drug that also offers a desired side effect. Such as a person that wants to be effeminate will more often take a chemical castration drug the also helps in feminization. If person that only want to reduce testosterone may take other drugs.

I was on androcur (cyprotetone acetate) for over 2 years before my castration. I had a blood test before my castration to check the testosterone levels. It was very low and at castration levels using the chemical castration drug. I had no change in physical or mental effects from chemical to the real thing. It was a real true to life test drive. The good part is that I could back out at any time and return to a normal functioning person by just stop taking the drug.

Ive been on every protocol under the sun and i have 52 credit hours in endocrinology, but im not a graduated medical professional so this is factual infomation that may be obtained from other sources compiled for your reference, not medical advice... ;)

I wrote a primer on chemical castration here:

http://www.eunuch.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=12114

Its in its 7th revision and has all side effect known listed, now in order of seriousness and % of patients effected.

Androcur is EXTREAMLY effective and if you want just to wipe out your T, thats the easiest way to do it.

I am following the same course as Bobbie. I am on cyproterone acetate 50mg/day for two years also, and a recent test showed a T level of 0.4, where normal male level is in a range of 1.9 to 11.3. I agree with Bobbie, and expect surgical removal to have no greater effect than to eliminate the need for further meds. I take estrogen 2mg for improved figure (nice boobs, and very smooth skin, as in almost hairless, except face and pubs).

Can one of you (or more) tell me how much femininizeing happens if you only take cyproterone acetate (andorcur). I'm wondering if I need to take estrogen. I'm looking or the androgenous look. (small boobs would be nice though) hee hee

For gpb3aol, I would suggest adding 2 to 4 mg of estrofem each day and stop when you like the result. I doubt if androcur alone will feminize.

Just remember once you have real breasts (not fat) they do not go away it you take T again. You will get some sinkage after you stop tanking the estrofem so you may have take the estrofem in a couple cycles before the breast stay the size you wish to have.

I assume you start small, low doses of estrofem or estrogel and work up slowly. True or not?
