Well, the upside was that I got a lot of practice learning how to use Firefox on a smartphone while I was waiting at the airport.

It was my first MoM and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of you, the interesting conversations, the food and drink, especially the home made apple pie, River's pancakes and Jesus' wine "imported" from CA. Talula went out of his way making his place feel like home.

The only mishap happened 15 minutes from home. Another pick-up ran a red light and t-boned my truck. My right shoulder is pretty sore and I learned yesterday my truck is a total. Last accident I remember was 1970. Oh well, shit happens.

The black truck was yours, right? That's a shame. I am glad you're not seriously hurt!

Paolo, you're right twice. It was the black one and it is a damn shame. I liked that truck, took good care of it and it was reduced to junk in an instant.

Thanks, Flo. Yeah, there's something to be said for being surrounded by 5500 pounds of steel. I'm glad I wasn't on my motorcycle.
