I really tried to bite my tongue here, but it has become exceedingly difficult. I am a moderator at a forum that gives support to transgendered people. Many people arrive there completely destroyed after being disowned by family and friends as well as divorce and forced separation from children.
Just so all of you know, "shemale" is a derogatory term to transsexuals. It's the same as the n-word. It's a term used by pornographers to sell pornography of people who can not find other work because of their gender issues and lack of a support system to fall back on. Having a discussion about how one prefers their exploited transsexual, with testicles or without testicles is somewhat upsetting and dehumanizing.
I am not a chick with a dick or a shemale. I am a woman that was born with a birth defect. My brain was not masculinized when I was in my mother's womb and because of that I ended up with a male body and a female mind.
Like most people in pornography, the vast majority of transsexuals that are in it are not there because they want to be. They feel they have no other choice. No other way to make money to either live or transition. Because of this some will discontinue hormone treatment so they can perform sexually, either in porn or as prostitutes.
Having said that, there are those who are female impersonators and take hormones or silicone injections just to get breasts or change fat distribution to that of a female, so they can pass as females. There are many transsexuals living in stealth that no one even knows they are transsexuals. Anyone who thinks they can tell the difference is really kidding themselves and I can for sure set up a test to identify them that anyone will fail.
While I concede that Asians tend to be more passable because of having a smaller stature, there are plenty of Caucasians that are perfectly passable. Also many transsexuals choose castration over GRS/SRS because it's both cheaper and easier to recover from. This is usually transsexuals who are indifferent to sex or are attracted to same sex and do not ever plan on having penetrative sex, or it's just not important to them. The advantage being that one can take much less female hormones if one does not have to overcome testosterone. This is not only cheaper but it also reduces the risks of taking female hormones.
Now I know there are all kinds of people out there and I am sure that some do it just for a sexual thrill. But those people are a small minority of the transsexual population and referring to the rest of us as "shemales" or "chick's with dicks" is pretty degrading.

Thank you for standing up for/to something other than the veiws that I and the rest of these pigs have voiced.
I fully respect and support the point that "shemale" or "chicks with dicks" can become a derogitory term just as "boy" or "girl", "capon", "gay" or "dyke". Sometimes it depends on who is using the term and how, then other times it depends on the historical era associated with the term.

If this thread was anywhere else but in the deep dark cellar I would tell you that I am sorry for my comments if they offended you, however this is the DDC and anything goes here. If you wish a serious thread on this subject we have a thread called transgendered or eunuch central and I don't believe you would see the same kind of comments made there as you do here. The thread you post in sets the tone for the content. Many of our members are in fact transgendered and I have met several. I love and respect each and every one, I can't even begin to understand what you must be going through to be TG. But this right or wrong is the DDC.

I get that a whole lotta men like transgenders that keep their "stuff". In fact I read somewhere that many men lose interest once a transgender gets SRS. Since a whole lotta sex is about power, it is only logical that some men get off on seeing another "man" ie still has his genitals, in a completely feminized state or powerless. Further, there is the whole "mind fuck" thing going on in the TG to a much greater or different degree than say the EU. Since some men have been feminizing themselves to some degree since the begaining of time it is only logical with modern science that men be allowed to feminize their bodies to whatever degree they feel fits their inner being without going all the way to SRS.
Since "You can't kill rock and roll." (Although you can definately curb it and throw in a major kink.) And since it has been established that many folks enjoy the semitransgendered it might be time to acknowledge the price that TG's pay for their being "different". There seems to be a complete lack of concern for the TG outside of sex. People should understand that transitioning is a long hard road and respect the whole person.
Just a little dignity and respect goes a long way to the individual arriving at the end of her journey a whole complete person.
I personally am so glad as to not be dealing with the whole "I'm a girl issue".

I don't know but almost none of us here have ever lived up to the norm that society holds for us nor could many of us ever. I never did. This is why I myself am HERE. There is a world that exists in between that of the feminine and that of the masculine. Not many people really can understand us nor do they have any idea that there IS this world which DOES exist. I have had a lot of trials and tribulations myself. --More than you will ever know. In reality I don't stand a chance among a group of men because they will invariably start thinking that I really am a girl. Sometimes we DO have to make light of this fact somewhere. I remember once being among a group of mostly Navajo women before halloween and the conversation that we were having somehow turned to be what we will dress up as for the night. One of them said, "Oh, we'll ALL dress up as SQUAWS tonight." And we all just laughed and laughed. Together we laughed and went about our way. We all just have to learn to make light of our own predicaments sometimes and be able to laugh at ourselves once in awhile. It's true.

I have "seen" in the underbelly of the Internet some perfectly GREAT looking female... er... what appeared to be female bodies with penises.
In video, that is, so that the "photoshopping" explaination was not in the realm of possibility. If I find one even halfway acceptable (that is, not too filthy, raunchy, in an 'act' because they are attractive, until you see what you are dealing with, and then the attractiveness kind of shuts down in your brain, at least for an old str8 guy, anyway...
) I will post the web address here so that you can "see" a nice example for yourself.
I AM glad that I am a 'home body' now. The world has just became so complicated these days...

Thanks for you comment and I do understand that it's the DDC. But having said that, I would like to think my post was informational and not accusatory. I believe that just as we can discuss African-Americans without using the N-word, we can discuss transsexuals without using derogatory terms. No matter where that discussion takes place. The same points can be made without showing disrespect, which the term "shemale" does. That was my only point.

I don't think anybody here meant to offend anyone. The fact is, some of us find adult transgender material very erotic. It's always labeled with the terms you find offensive. I don't see adult material featuring African-Americans labeled as "N-word" porn, so I think there's a bit of a difference. Sorry to those who may be have been offended.

The irony is that most men that fantasize about pre-op transsexuals or have sex with them, desire to be penetrated by the transsexual. Not the other way around. That is why the transsexuals have to go off female hormones, so they can get an erection and ejaculate.
So I would say it goes a little deeper than just a mere power struggle. To have the desire to be emasculated by the emasculated is some pretty deep stuff. To be dominated by a woman the way a man would dominate a woman? I mean we talk about this stuff every day here in the EA.
