I haven't been using any lotions at all. Simply running a razor lightly over my arm causes a lot of dry flakes to fall off. This wasn't the case before I started Androcur.
My hair stays cleaner much longer than before I started Androcur. Used to be, if I didn't wash it every day, it looked greasy. Now, I can go 4 -5 days without washing it and it still looks clean. BTW, I noticed this at a time when I was sick and didn't have the energy to wash my hair every day. I typically take a shower every day!

DonFL, I hadn't heard that the regular use of Nair causes hair to grow back thinner. That would be great.
Unfortunately, I'll have to let my body hair grow out a bit if I'm going to use an epilator. If I keep the end goal in mind of a smooth bod for a longer period with fewer problems, I guess I'll make it through

Actually Todd, for pain management reasons I would shave hair first. It will only take a few days for a few of the hairs to grow long enough to be grabbed by the epilator. Different hairs will grow in during the following days and you an quickly run the eppilator over them. This keeps you from having to remove such a heavy concentration the first time and will hurt a lot less. If you don't mind the pain, you will still want to use some clippers to cut the hair very short.

Thanks you for the excellent advice, ramses. I hadn't even thought of this approach. It makes good sense.

Unlike the hair on my head, nearly all of my body hair retains its original color. I've thought of the laser treatments and may check into that within a year or so. In the meantime, I've got heavy expenses with the university gender clinic.

I'm in the Chicago area this week and wound up going someplace I usually avoid. The mall.
It was so cold here yesterday that I couldn't spend much time outside. After as little as two to three minutes, I can feel my airways starting to spasm. If I stay in the cold too long, and even a few minutes can be too long, it will trigger an asthma attack. I prefer to avoid that!
So, I needed to get in some walking and I went to Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg. I stopped at a Sharper Image store as I thought, with the name and everything, this could be a good place to find an epilator. They did have them. I wound up getting the cheapest model, the Epilady. I figured if the thing would work for a lady it would surely do the trick for a eunuch.
I was really disappointed when I got back to the hotel, opened the package and read that I'd need to let Epilady charge for 10 hours before using it. So, I let it charge overnight. Before going to class this morning, I had just a few minutes to try it. I'll give give my body a complete treatment tonight.
On the way out, I noticed the store also had Swiss army knives. The Swiss are known for being neutral, although very protective of their own territory. It seemed logical to me that as a now more neutral person, I should have this knife.
Truth is, every time something goes wrong at work where a small tool/knife type thing comes in handy, guys are surprised I don't have a Swiss army knife. Now, I'll be just as prepared as the real men.

So Todd, did it work? (the epilady)

I'm extremely happy with Epilady. She can be a little painful at times, pulling out the hairs by the root, but the results are worth it. One of the best parts is, unlike with shaving, there are no knicks to bleed. My skin now looks much better.

Hi Todd, I've started waxing. ouch. The epilady works on legs, arms and ?(chest) anywhere else? I love the waxed look but my chest is still red and it was done two days ago.
