Sorry this is a little delayed, but this whole thing came as a complete shock, and it's taken a couple days to sink in. Still working on that, actually. I just hope I can do justice to the position. I'm going to do my best not to let everyone down.

Now I know eveyrone wants the story submission pages back up as soon as possible, but sadly all I can say is that it will take me a bit to get to that point. I know very little about how the site was put together, or even the software used. It's going to take me a bit to soak up enough PHP and SQL to get things going again. But I promise you, I am working on it as hard as I can. Today's task was getting a couple good PHP books, and installing a web server with both PHP and SQL installed so that I can work on things.

IEunuch if you need help with PHP or SQL I can help you. Ive done my fair amount of coding in PHP.

I thank you for the offer, and may be calling upon you (and others) in the near future. The real challenge is though, that I don't wish to simply rely on outside help for site repairs. I need to be able to know enough to do the repairs myself.

i have your linux box ready for delivery so the board can be resusitated in an isolated system (to prevent any possibility of cross contamination into your current computers). i still plan on delivering it sometime in the early afternoon of this comming sunday (7-23) to as near as canada as i can safely drive (depending on my level of sleep). (you can figure that there is probably a free lunch for you as well)

the good news is that Sarah actually wants to come with. that could take some of the resent pressure off of me.
