Vbulletin is back up obviously but I lost about 4 months worth of data.

What happened to the backup? Was it written incorrectly?

Hehe I guess every cloud has it's silver lining - it's now known (for future reference!) how lacking the backup method was, and this whole ordeal will also probably remove the recent flurry of troll registrations? So it's not all bad

Those who are geniune members will probably stick around and not mind re-registering.
