Because of this thread, I just watched this last night on Netflix.
Fun indeed!
Interesting to see the difference in production values, then vs. now. Lee Marvin's acting is actually awesome, but other actors too often telegraph their lines, and the fight scenes mostly worked but wow, did some of the set-ups for "smash the table"-scenes look painfully obvious!
Ignoring that stuff, though, it's a great story with (as mentioned above!) great singing/playing by Stubby and Nat. Worth the time!
