I know about DHT. But the article was implying that DHT can also trigger bone growth in skulls. DHT isn't the only cause however for MPB however DHT is the main leading key for it.

In end it's all about the genes and not everyone has the type of specific androgen receptors responsible for balding. but it is the most dominant allele it seems. Over 80% of baldness occurs with men at some stage in their life.

I do agree that exhibiting signs of baldness early dead on in your 20's coupled with a trans identity would suck big time.

As for me I'm not sure if I'm entirely safe from baldness. My dad started balding age 37(his cranium is big) around the temples.

But so far hair resembles that from my mothers side. almost her entire line(males and females) never bald and most retain their juvenile hairline.

The tradeoff is that both females and males grey(should I say go from black to salt and pepper to white) so rapidly that it's not even funny. My mom hair went entirely white by age 22. Mine started potruding white fibers by age 12. ATM it's starting to form a Mr Fantastic white streak line

See our hair doesnt grey. It turns white immediately.

I will feel safer from all this trouble the moment I'll go on hormones in some point of my life soon.

I'm working on it and it's milestone that needs achievement soon
