Because when it came out, I had 4 nephews and nieces who were young enough to stay at my Mother's house on weekends and I used to visit with videotapes to entertain them on the weekends. My Aunt was alive and he three of us took care of the kids. They also came to my house (the entire gang) and did weekends in the countryside next to the parklands that exist out my back door.

So I watched a lot of movies suitable for kids.

Some of my favorites movies are THE INCREDIBLES, MONSTERS INC., MONSTERS V ALIENS, and the strange Tim Burton duo - CORPSE BRIDE and NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS.

I haven't seen the current MUPPET Movie.
