You know that would be great, we could blame it on GOD.

The hurricane will probably see them and change course, on second thought. I would.

Not very likely. Hurricanes are deflected by masses of hot air.

Hurricane Isaac, currently a tropical storm brewing southeast of Puerto Rico, is on track to hit Florida the same day that Mitt Romney and 50,000 Republican delegates, journalists, protestors and guests descend on Tampa for the Republican National Convention.

A stormed out convention could only be interpreted as the Lord's disapproval by the religious right.

Do you believe in divine intervention? This event could be remembered in biblical context for generations to come, lessons will be learned, the things you can and can't do when holding a convention of a political nature, Biblical I say.

I can hear the Jay Leno's of the late night TV crowd now. And those preachers that are always saying why natural disasters happen is because god is pissed, yep let your mind wonder.

I am sure if the perfect storm hits then they will tell you why it was just nature doing its thing and that GOD had nothing to do with it, this time.

Oh if there were only a GOD.

Strengthened by hot air, not deflected... strengthened.

The waters of the Gulf of Mexico off the west side of Florida are warm - like up in the high 80's and near 90 F. Nearly bathtub hot.

That hot water will cause the hurricane to expand and increase.

Looks to me like Divine protection has occurred.

The "G", "O", "P" is "G", "O", "D"'s Party of Choice.

We have witnessed the signs. 🙏 Hallelujah. 🙇

That's water which feeds the hurricane; when it encounters another mass of hot, wet air, they go their separate ways.

No, No no. The Democrats will be convinced that God hates the Republicans in Miami. The Republicans will believe that God hates all the flamboyant Gays in South Beach. Neither one will pay any attention to what the Bible actually says

The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. [Ecclesiastes 9:11] And often, when time and chance happeneth to you, its a bitch. See Katrina, the Japanese or Haitian earth quakes, the drought, and so ad nauseum.
