It's not about religions, it's about right and wrong. We get mad when eunuchs, gays or lesbians or transsexuals are trampled on, so why is it O.K. to trample upon religion or the people who are so inclined to follow a religion? This is a eunuch board, it's supposed to be about eunuchs or those who want to become eunuchs. I'm personally offended when it's o.k. to trample on people because of their beliefs, likes, dislikes, or choices. You can't allow people to trample upon ones religion and not allow another person to trample upon someone else's beliefs, if you do, you'll be overwhelmed with hate.

hash - nobody is trampling on anybody. I was only talking about the good taste of Roman Lions. I didn't mention Lions eating Muslims because there was no Islam until after 712 CE.

I'm looking for the hate, but I haven't been able to find it yet. The initial post was a joke and the thread seems to have devolved into being a culinary thread.
A little over sensitive, aren't you hash? Do you have so little faith that you can't even tolerate a joke?

Personally, I'd like to bring back this part of ancient Rome. It might give those modern Christians who think they're being persecuted a bit of perspective.

You know MacWolf is an AGED historian and being such I remember him telling me after one such meal about 57AD, the lions were so full so they moved in the slaves to clean up the mess and a food fight broke out.
Aged Historians have seen it all.

I never heard that the lions had a preference for christian over pagan. Eunuchs sound
like a tasty choice; young, plump, squeal loudly.
