And so many cute boys....
Remember that May 5th (5/5) is also Boys' Day in Japan – a day to celebrate all boys. March 3rd (3/3) is Girls' Day and July 7 (7/7) is Tanabata – the festival of a great love story between a boy and a girl. 1/1 is, of course, New Year.
Birthdays were not traditionally celebrated in Japan, so all children got a special day on either 3/3 or 5/5, with the entire country celebrating.....
