a fair enough question, and one that I am honestly going to have difficulty answering...... but here goes anyway

As I said in my post "

"

From my perspective, (being the person that can FEEL the sensations from having my breasts touched and masaged), I will try to explain what I meant by saying that the way they feel has changed...... I can feel internal structures INSIDE my breasts, these are not muscles, nor is it just a fatty deposit. There is in fact some structure inside each of my breasts that developed due to the hormone treatment. From my studying medical documemtation, I was able to find out that the female breasts as they mature develop milk producing ducts. These ducts will mature with time and the 'right' hormone levels.

This is where the progesterone comes in, it is the female hormone that helps support (maintain) pregnancy. During pregnancy the woman's progesterone level increases. During the woman's first pregnancy her milk ducts will mature as part of the effects from the hormone levels.

Now I am not taking progesterone in the sort of doses that would mimick being pregnant, I am taking it in the sort of doses that mimick 'normal' female levels, so my breasts have developed to the extent that would occur in a female that has not been pregnant. (One day I am planning on changing the dose for a few months to mimick pregnancy, just to see what it's like, and find out what effect it will have on my body.)

With the breasts development I have experienced, at first my breasts were very 'perky' and pointy, (this was when I was taking Oestrogen alone). After adding progesterone to my hormones, I noticed that my breasts changed shape and became much more rounded, more like a womans rather than a teenage girls. During this whole process I could feel when massaging my breasts, the development of the internal milk ducts. The whole breast development phase was also accompanied with great breast tenderness, at times it was painful to even WALK, let alone run.

I also do breast examinations, and soon I will get my first mammogram, because the risk of me developing breast cancer is similar to that of any other woman on long term HRT, and of a similar age.

I hope I have been able to explain that breasts are much more than just fatty deposits, and that there is a structure inside them that has sensation, and feels different when massaged. Afte 'saggy pecks' for a few years before starting my HRT, I can say that there is a real definate difference between that and true breasts.

I would not have personally had a problem if I had been fortunate enough to have gynecomastia as a boy. However, it would not have been easy.

(1) I would have had to endure excessive teasing from the other boys. They would have called me a sissy girl and a pussy. I would have been a freak. I do not know how the girls would have felt about a boy with breasts.

(2) If I would have had breasts, my parents would have had them removed without even considering my feelings about them.

Other boys and society place a high value on boys fitting the sexual development profile. Any hint of femininity is not allowed.

It appears that girls are freer to be what ever they feel. Are girls as mean and discriminating as boys? Is society as harsh on them for being different?

It would be a good idea if ALL men with breasts would get mammograms.

My wife has told me how uncomfortable and painful those are. However, if you have breasts, I agree that you need periodic mammograms. Would seem strange having a lovely nurse give me a mammogram.

The idea of a Mammogram for men is not so way off the mark and not just men with Gynecomastia.

Many people do not realise that men can get breast cancer and because of this the number of deaths of men who have been diagnosed with it is far higher than for women.

The reason is that because they are not aware of the problem men do not check their breasts for lumps and therefore when the problem becomes apparent it is often too late.

Are men with breasts still allowed to go topless? Are they required to wear a bra top like women? Or just allow us to go topless, too. Why the difference? In fairness to everybody; if one has to cover-up, all should have to cover-up. Breasts or no breasts (big or small), why should there be any difference? "Shirts Required" means full shirts for men but only bra-tops for women, why?

As far as I am concerned there should be one rule for both sexes. If a woman wants to go around bare breasted then she should.

A sideline on this is that a few years ago, one of the Australian states tried to bring in a ban on Women showing bare breasts. One journal immediately challenged it with a picture of a pair or large well formed breasts. When threatened with prosecution it was revealed that they actually belonged to a well known sportsman who had been a champion swimmer. Needless to say, the ban failed.

The rule here in Germany is simple.

Women are allowed to go bare breast on beaches, parks for sun bathing and swimming baths, that do not specificely forbid it.

Men are allowed to go bear and hairy every where they want exept public buildings and most shops and restaurants wont allow it either.

I went swimming the other day in a public open air baths and I wasn't the only woman topless, some do and some are ashamed.

Hmm, Well I think I'll stay away from the nude beaches for awhile. Will end up blinding people with all the Jewelry I have hanging between my legs. Plus I think many people would be speechless seeing my body mods. 🙄 :tongueout

The female body is so beautiful. Lovely breasts and a nice smooth crotch. No unsightly body hair. I am rather envious. It is a disgrace to cover such beauty!
