OneBallBoi and I are with Tome in his room as of 4:00 CT Thursday. He is feeling good and like always. We walked with him as he did one of his daily walks.

He got a triple bypass and valve replacement.

I'm delighted to hear Tome is recovering well from surgery. I've visited with him several times at the Minnesota MoM and enjoyed his company. I wish him a speedy recovery.

From what I found out when my Mother had a heart valve replaced, he won't have taste buds for a while. Heart surgery shuts down the taste buds.

And he won't hear his heartbeat like we do until the pericardium (the sack that surrounds the heart) reforms and heals.

All the news sounds good. I hope and pray it stays that way.

He said in a note to me that he could order food off the menu and got a burger. He said it was well done when it arrived. He's more into the less done approach. I took his complaint as a good sign that he's ready to come back home. You guys should have better driving conditions today as well. Hope he's home safe and sound by this afternoon.

Tome is out of the hospital. He is staying with OBB and myself for a few days.

He is happy to be out of the hospital.
