My session went really good but then found out they don't write letters for surgery! argh. Anyways, I was diagnosed with Gender Identity Disorder. She told me I DO NOT have a disorder, however. She said I am not crazy and seem to be handling my transition very well. She liked the path so far accept she wants me to see a doctor to make sure the hormones aren't hurting my body.
So, it was good to at least get a diagnosis and find out I am sane.
Now I have to find another therapist and make an appointment with my doctor for some tests.

Great that the appointment went well. You at least now know that it is not so hard to talk to medical personal. Hope the therapist gave you someone else that is understanding about transgendered.
