Wait, wait, in the PEACEMAKER (a movie) we saw George Clooney disable a briefcase sized nuclear weapon in a church baptistery by banging it with a gun and a pocket knife.

So therefore. Thus and Quod Erat.. and Res Judicatis... It must be real!

Since we saw it in the movies IT MUST BE TRUE!

Run, scared and wet, pants dripping from everything then and be frightened. This must be true if the movies showed it and we must FEAR it always...

Chicken Little runs aground in the shallow gene pool of conspiracy theories but that don't stop chicken little from screaming "Beeety Davis eyes are after me!" and crying wolf, wolf, wolf in the woods. Wolf done ate my grannie... (I have no idea what this means.)

Boris Yeltsin was never the *Soviet* president.

Wikipedia is a good jumping off point, but not a very good fact checker.

While I agree it is important to be vigilant regarding terrorism, I also feel it is important to keep our fear in check. The truth of the matter is we kill ourselves at the rate of about forty thousand people a year, and that is just from alcohol related fatalities on our highways. Imagine how many people we can save just by taking better care of our selves. Quit smoking, get in shape, eat a proper diet.... ( Long list not included )

The global war on terror has killed more Americans than global terrorism.

NO tell me it is not so and it cost what?????????????????

I think I am going to be sick, we could have had state of the art health care for that price and I could have had a V8.

But what we will never know is how many were saved?

I agree. We spilt the blood over there, so it wouldn't get spilt over here, and we don't even know if it was worth it.

"If we don't fight them over there we will have to fight them over here" first said by

Born Odo (or Odon, or Eudes) of Châtillon-sur-Marne, or Odo of Lagery or Lagny, Pope Urban II developed most of the reforms of Gregory VII (http://historymedren.about.com/library/ ... wgreg7.htm) and helped turn the papacy into a strong political entity. At the Council of Clermont in 1095, he made a speech calling for all Christian knights to take back the Holy Land from the Turks, thus launching the First Crusade.

and it continues today.

Or how many more could have been saved in the future by not using military force, or how many more will be killed by reinforcing old religous and ethnic hatered? I bet the German's wished they stood up to their guy when he tried socialism on for size.
