At my request mother cooked a Christmas cake*. Reminded because I had the last slice last night.
Oh, and for Mac me in white tie (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ghostwheel ... 835790375/) (though you can't see the tails).

* Don't know if this is transatlantic, English style Christmas cake is a heavy and very rich fruit cake matured for months and dosed with alcohol so by the time you eat it it's very moist and almost black.
