Not true perv. The corriolis effect is not strong enough to effect something as small as a drain. I always believed the same thing until a few years ago.

Storms do from their larger size but not drains.

The adjective "tropical" refers to both the geographic origin of these systems, which form almost exclusively in tropical (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropics) regions of the globe, and their formation in Maritime Tropical air masses (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_mass#Classification). The noun "cyclone" refers to such storms' cyclonic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclone) nature, with counterclockwise (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clockwise_ ... rclockwise) rotation in the Northern Hemisphere (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Hemisphere) and clockwise rotation in the Southern Hemisphere (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_Hemisphere). Depending on their location and strength, tropical cyclones are referred to by various other names, such as hurricane, typhoon, tropical storm, cyclonic storm, and tropical depression.

Well, so far I've been up for 37 hours and I'm starting to feel it. We had some issues with our on demand hot water systems for our shower units but all problems solved. There are a thousand tree cutters and linemen that will have showers now, after working in this heat and humidity. Hoping to get out of here in the next few hours and crash...

Transexual hurricanes are known as either typhoons or as cyclones.

Transvestite hurricanes spin clockwise rather than counter clockwise.

Transylvanian hurricanes have a tendency to travel toward Romania.
