I recently moved to N.J. and since I'm still having pain in my side, decided to see yet another endocrinologist. I've had Cat-Scans, MRI's, etc. for this pain, which comes and goes, but they never seem to find anything. However, while moving I had an extreme attack of pain in the area, so much so that I went to the ER thinking that it must be "appendicitis" and had yet another Cat-Scan, urine test, blood test, nothing. Doctor thinks it's nerve related or muscle strain, but it's too deep for muscle strain in my opinion.
Anyway, I made an appointment with an endocrinologist that my insurance provider directed me to use. Turns out it's a she and she's a very young she in Flemington, some miles from me, her name is Dr. Lifchus-Ascher, MD To say that she's a knock out is an understatement. Even as a castrated male I recognized her beauty, but thankfully, never got even a twinge of sexual excitment. She however asked me how I was castrated and I told her that I really did not want to discuss it. However, a little later on she asked me the same question, which I again tried to avoid answering. I'm not sure why I avoided answering her, it was strange. I just felt uncomfortable in her presence, is that strange or what? She has ordered more blood tests, a Hepatic Panel, whatever that is. I tried to Google it, but did not get many anwers about it. Any clues?

Re: Endocrinology
A Hepatic Panel is sometimes refered to as a Liver Screen. If I recall it checks enzimes for liver function. --FLO--

It is not strange. i sometimes get like this around attractive people.
hash, is it not important how you got castrated?
it is a facture that you are though, and im sure what you tell your doctor is held confidently. any little bit of undiscussed information regarding your health could leave out a possibility to the pain.
maybe its just the way my mom raised me, i tell doctors everything, even stuff they might not think appropriate.

Maybe not too strange, there are some people whom I'm just not comfortable with at all for no reason -- it's just a feeling I get sometimes.
I've told my story of autocastration to damn near everyone so I'm not shy at all about telling someone anymore.

Re: Endocrinology
If she asks me again (I've got a follow-up blood test consultation appointment June 5th), I'll spill the beans! I think the more familiar you are with someone, getting comfortable, it's easier to divulge information.

Re: Endocrinology
Went to visist my endocrinologist and had a good visit. She told me all my tests were good, though she said my testosterone level was extremely low at 153ml. Then she asked me about my erections and I told her I didn't care about erections which seemed to shock her a little bit. She must be all of 28-30 yrs old and I think I'm a unique patient
for her. She pressed me about my sexuality and I told her I'm happy with low testosterone, but strangely, she said you got your testosterone tested at 11am in the morning, I'd like you to use the compounded testosterone early in the morning, instead of at night, and then get it tested 4 hours later. She said the rythmic cycle might show I higher level. I said, "I don't have a rthmic cycle, I'm castrated." To which she said, "Oh, that's right, but I'd still like you to get it checked." She has never physically examined me, so I don't think she actually believes me. I'm not really sure what to make of her action or requirement. I told her I can control my "t" levels and that I like being in control. I told her I like to keep my "t" between 150-220 max. But she insisted that I get this new blood test and come back to see her in August. Can anyone interpret her actions?

Sounds like you need to drop your pants and provide proof.

Tell her, "You do not seem to grasp the notion that I am an eunuch. Would you, perhaps, care to review the matter further?"
