The only thing I know about Texas is that it is the only place in the world where you can stand knee deep in mud and still be in the middle of a dust storm. I know that from experience.

Blaise, depends on what part of the State you are in. That happens in Lubbock (Riverwind's favorite vacation spot) and San Angelo. Doesn't happen in Houston area. There you can stand in the mud and drown from a hurricane. If you go Waco on North you can stand in mud and get swept away by a tornado.

In Texas, one has their choice of weather/disasters.
