Testing my castration

I decided that I wanted to test my castration and withheld my morning application of "androgel" on Monday. I've been using a small dose of it to prevent the side effects of depression, osteoporosis, etc. But I wanted to experiment and wow, did I start noticing some rapid changes. Now it takes a complete day for the effects of "androgel" to wear off, each morning your supposed to replenish your "t" with the gel. But I decided to deprive myself. After a few days without it, my male member has retreated to the point where it's only sticking out about an inch or so. I have to literally "pull it out" to urinate. It's greatly reduced in girth & length and does not show any signs of sexual life. I cannot get an erection now and don't care too. My head started swimming yesterday, and I was nauseated, but I've held out. I do not have any sexual desire. I tried to think of sexual things, and though I could picture things in my mind, they won't stay put and I don't care. This after only a few days of depriving myself of "t." Lately I've felt as if something is leaving my body, like? I don't know how to describe it, maybe like air being let out of a tire. Anyway, mentally I seem to be alright, but my body is certainly reacting to the loss of "t." I'll continue to post about it. I thought it would take a week or two to experience some side effects, but not so for me. Hash

Remember that you have been operating on a "maintenance" dose. You are not on a full level, nor on the body's normative level. The net is that your T levels are necessarily much lower than would otherwise be the case. So withholding for a day or three will have a quicker, more profound effect, as compared to someone experiencing the effects after surgical castration, where depletion can take 2 to 6 weeks.

For small maintenance dose, I would expect you are using either 2.5 gram (25 mg) or 5 gram (50 mg) packets. Regular useage of 50 mg will usually produce a maintenance level of about 300-350 ng/dl, which is relatively low (normative range is usually between 200-1,000 ng/dl).
