Mixing Up Film Titles In Your Mind

Post by Sac_mec (imported) »

Despite all the massive advertising I have yet to see and enjoy "Brokeback Mountain". I don't know whether it is short term memory mixing up or what but I keep thinking the film title is "Bareback Mountain"! Now, that would be a very different film; I dare say a bit of a bum film and one I wouldn't really enjoy, though I guess it would sell an awful lot of DVDS!

I was just at Blcokbuster and saw numerous French films that make Brokeback Mountain look like a Sunday School lesson.

I wonder when American is going to catch up with the French?

Perhaps this is the real reason for all that American anti-French sentiment that was about not so long ago.

Or is your reference to "Sunday School" because all those French films promulgate the immoral atheistic Theory of Evolution?

Well, I still say the French are right in many ways, but I will save that for the Political Discussion Forum on EA.

And that means we are still living in 17th century American Puritanism.

I agree. The USA will probably never get past the Victorian Era socially.
