why castration or penectomy?

First off let me say that not only am I new,but i was born a eunuch. I've never been through male puberty. I've been researching this site now for about 3 days. Searching for an answer that I just can't find. This question has probably been asked before. I even tried the site search and still got nothing.I hope this doesn't offend anyone, as I just want to understand.

Ok. besides the eunuch calm, mental clarity,and decreased libido, and aside from Religious, Transgenderism, forced castration, castration by mother nature, or medical reasons, why does a person choose castration and/or penectomy? What goes through the mind of an otherwise healthy male to want to go through this type of body modification? Also this isn't about fantasy, this is about people that are serious in their endevors. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Welcome to the Archives. I'm sure you've read this (http://www.eunuch.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=1514) thread about why you want to be castrated.

Aside from the reasons you mention, I believe there is a body dysmorphic reason for being modified. I can't speak for everyone, but for me being transsexual, having those parts just feels wrong.

Hi! Gender dysphoria is very difficult to deal with. We feel that we are the wrong sex and many times are thinking reflects this. We look at this male equipment and find it disgusting. Yet ,as our breasts begin to grow, we love them. For me ,there is nothing sexual about it. Once again, without being there, it's difficult to express. We deal with these problems in the best way we can. We are usually intelligent beings. There are many reasons for this yet there are many parallels. We find great comfort being with like-minded individuals. That's what EA is about. I hope you will find us a comfort.

Hi and welcome I'm still new myself, but as I've learned there is a lot of support and friendship to be found here. I am another TG, meaning that I was castrated as part of my transition from male to female. But I feel a connection to non TS eunuchs (I say TS because if eunuch is considered a gender identity then eunuchs could be considered TG) because I believe we are very similar. The reasons you mentioned cover a lot of it, but chances are there are others too that maybe people will share. It's not offensive to me at all that you are trying to understand. I think it's wonderful.

As Shakespeare put it, "tell me where is fancy bred, in the heart or in the head, how begot how nourished, reply, reply." I think that as other members of the Archive reply to your posting, you will see what a broad range of desires, interests, self identity, etc. cluster around the central issue of longing for emasculation (whether we go through with it, or as in my case, live it in the world of fantasy) that binds us together in this wonderful site. The story board will also tell you much about what goes on in members' heads, since in fiction all our desires can become reality. In my case I had never had a single thought about castration until (in my mid fifties!) I stumbled upon this site via a reference to it in another site. Talk about a revelation! Immediately the idea of undergoing castration, penectomy and nullification became an extremely important sexual fantasy. (For more on these fantasies see my stories, which can be found under my name on the author index.) Where was I before that? Well, since puberty I had masochistic fantasies (despite, incidentally having a totally loving pair of parents) focussed on female domination. Some time later I developed the fantasy of being able to magically turn permanently into a woman (not a domineering one); both these fantasies are still with me (the second one is of course represented by my avatar), but emasculation is up there as an equal third. Now it seems one can imagine a link between the first two, with their implicit denial of manhood, and the third one (physical emasculation); in addition, although I feel a strong attraction towards women (in my fantasies of magically becoming one I invariably turn into a very feminine lesbian), due to shyness I have never had a proper sex life outside of masturbation, so the sense of being a "failed male" doubtless is part of the mix. But how exactly does all this fit together? As Shakespeare said, "tell me where is fancy bred...." All I know is that this site (which I visit several times a day, and which is distinguished by its tolerance and inclusiveness) is incredibly important to me. Best of luck in everything.

Ok maybe I wasnt clear in my question. Ladies i can related to you all better than I can anybody else. Because I'm intersexed and my male organs haven't virilised and they are infantile. My testicles are tiny little peas that are hard and do not function. Therefore I absolutely hate them and like ya'll I feel that they should not be there. I classify this as a medical problem. I also feel that being born with the wrong equipment is also a medical problem. as yall seem to hate your genitals as much as I hate mine. I know that there are people here that have pain in their organs so they wish to have theirs removed too. I read the moderators post( Andrew ) where he talked about exsessive libido and that was one of the reasons he was castrated, again a medical problem. Limpdik, I'd say that having faulty equipment would also denote a medical problem. ( thanks for your imput). Strassewbahn, i loved your input as well, and I think youd make a great lesbian submissive.

My question though was aimed more toward the average Joe on the street that didn't have any of the problems I mentioned above, Which were:

Religion

Transgender

Forced Castration

Castration by mother nature or God

Medical problems

Theres probably a few others that I failed to mention. Im talkin the person that wants to modify his body, wether that be tatoo, percing, castration or penectomy. And granted he may not like his organs either. And maybe this is pointless all the way around, as if he didnt like his equipment that to would be a Medical problem. But then again this was about" Body Modification".
