I'm halfway there now.
Well I am half way to becoming a real eunuch.
Last weekend managed to get right nut removed, and started out with left nut but my cautery pen failed and cutter did not want to risk any problems so reinserted the left nut and sutured things up untill I can get a replacement pen and reschedule things.
I would post a few photos but it is not allowed so everyone needs to check BME (http://www.bmezine.com/) in a few weeks once I find time to submit the photos.

Well just a little swollen right now and still sore, Since cautery pen had to be used on me to do most of the work have less swelling then BF does. Been taking things fairly easy I know I have more flexibility then BF does right now. We both started Amoxicillin on Wednesday night and have been taking in the morning and at night to help prevent infection.
For those of you with IAM membership you can view my IAM page and get some photos of how things looked.

I think I speak for a number of us, luvpain, in saying we wish you'd at least arrange to have someone with emergency medical training there, when you have the other gonad removed. And, once the surgery has been done, there's no reason you couldn't have a physician oversee the healing process. I hope this all goes well for you.

Congratulations to both you and your BF. It's good to know that both you and your cutter were playing it safe and replaced the remaining testicle when your equipment failed.

I did have a few friends that I trusted from here and IAM on hand and was well prepared to goto the hospital.
As for seeing a Doctor I probably will wait till the second one is removed now unless I notice any signs of infection or other complications with the castration.
I really have Doctors and the medical community to be assholes in reguards to this matter and do not want to be put in the mental ward again. That would just end up killing me having to be isolated from friends and family for the most part.

Opps forgot to add that the cutter has plenty of medical knowledge also and has worked in the medical field in the past.
Re: I'm halfway there now.
Tetracycline powder, also called terramyacin (sp? - checker didn't recognize either) sold at vet / farm stores is also good. You'll have to calculate doses based on your weight. It mixes in water and it tastes horrible, but it works. You can also mix it into a thick paste that's a lot more effective than Neosporin for surface wounds.
Modern day doctors have seldom prescribed tetracycline, and a lot of infectious bugs out there are NOT immune to it. Amoxicillin is hardly worth anything these days, as it's been so over prescribed in the past.

Re: I'm halfway there now.
Well I do have ciprofloxaci I can also take if things get bad. I am keeping the incision site clean and using a product called Techni-Care to keep the area clean. It is used as a surgical scrub actually, but works faster and safer then betadine or other iodine solutions as it attacts bacteria, fungus and other matter but leaves healthy tissue alone and promotes healing.
If you want to read about the product goto www.caretechlabs.com
I learned about this product last year from some advanced piercers that are now usinging it to clean piercing site and even as a lube for the needles.
